Pepper Jane
International touring and recording artist from Jondaryan, QueenslandRaised free range on a Darling Downs farm, this country farm girl has always had her art in her pocket, while driving tractors, wandering cotton fields and traversing highways here and overseas.
Pepper Jane was singing from a very young age: in churches, school choirs, musicals, and generally walking up the street. She has played in every state in Australia, two festivals in Norway, and at the famous Ruby Sessions in Dublin (as have Ed Sheeran, Vance Joy, James Blunt and more).
Audiences have described her as enchanting, lovable and hilarious. Usually, they can’t land on a genre, but having opened shows for Aussie legends in rock (Tex Perkins, Russell Morris), soul (Renée Geyer, Deni Hines) and folk (Darren Hanlon, Neil Murray), she charts her orbit somewhere in between those atmospheres.
"Honest and soulful voice... she writes beyond conventional themes and her sense of melody and all round musicianship is really great.
A big tick from me!"

"Pepper Jane is a cross between Thirsty Merc and Joni Mitchell."
